Once registered you will be able to:

  • pay online for any extras or outstanding amounts for your booking
  • view specific house information including a floor plan and Wi-Fi login details
  • view general Raintree and local information that might be helpful for your stay
  • browse past bookings you have made
  • please use the same email as used on your booking

We aim to offer a complete service, so when you compare us with other agencies, please make sure you are comparing like for like.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY

  • Most of our houses are professionally cleaned by the Raintree housekeeping team. For stays of two weeks or more, the house will be cleaned and the bed linen and towels changed one week after arrival, and then weekly. The following houses have their own housekeepers: Carrek Cottage, ’t Sandt, The Look Out, Tristan and Carnavis Cottage. Mid-stay cleaning arrangements for these properties may differ, so please see the individual house page for details.
  • Beds are made up for your arrival. A bath towel is folded on each bed. Raintree provides linen for most properties, and many now have white 200 thread count cotton sheets and high-quality white towels.
  • To support our sustainability efforts, we provide hand towels in each bathroom rather than one per person. In recent years we have found that most unused hand towels still need laundering. If you would prefer one hand towel per person, please let us know and we will provide them.
  • A Standard Clean is included at the end of your stay. This means you only need to leave the property in a reasonable, tidy condition. If you would prefer to leave without any cleaning, a Tenant Clean is available as an optional extra.
  • Bathrooms are prepared for your arrival with luxury soap and shower gel.
  • Cleaning products and toilet paper, enough to get you started, are provided in all bathrooms and cloakrooms. Most of our cleaning products are provided by Delphis Eco, supplier of award winning, plant-derived and biodegradable products.
  • Under the kitchen sink you will find washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets and bin bags for your first few days. A kitchen roll is also provided.
  • If dogs are allowed at your chosen property, there is a charge of £15.00 per dog. In some cases, such as multiple dogs or properties that do not usually accept dogs, an additional security deposit may be required.
  • On arrival you will find local biscuits, chocolate, tea and milk waiting for you.
  • No packing sheets into the car. No arriving to an empty kitchen. Just the small comforts in place, so your holiday can begin as soon as you open the door.

AT THE END OF YOUR STAY

Cleaning is included within your property rental. The type of cleaning service you require must be agreed before your arrival at the time of payment of the balance.

Your choices are as follows:

Option 1 – Inclusive Standard Changeover Clean

Guest’s responsibility

  • Leave house similar to how you found it
  • Strip beds
  • Pass a hoover around to ensure floors are largely clean
  • Do washing up (dishwasher can be left full, but clean)
  • Ensure fridge, cooker and bathrooms are wiped over
  • Put furniture back where found and empty bins around the house to the wheelie bins outside

For a Standard Changeover Clean, there is NO extra charge (inclusive within your holiday price)

OR

Option 2 – Additional Tenant Clean

Guest’s responsibility

  • Nothing more than general cleanliness, putting furniture back where found and emptying bins around the house to the green bins outside

Each house has its own tenant clean price dependent on size, get in touch at any time before your stay to add this option to a booking.
